hi all
wondered if any one can recommend some ext and interior mirrors for my mk with cage.also do i need flat or convex or doesnt it matter?i like the look of paul fishers but cant seem to find them.also anyone recommend a digital gear indicator for 919 98my fireblade engined mk.also cheapest place to buy.

For mirrors I like Cub70 ones. I switched from them to some pimpy chrome ones and they're not half as good. The Cub ones have a great field of vision and are convex.

For gear indicators... Personally I wouldn't bother cos you soon learn to count sub-conciously in your head (ie you end up just knowing what gear you're in).

The cheapest gear indicator is a DIY job built from the circuit diagram on my website It just uses microswitches and a signal from the neutral light so you need to set it up carefully. Some of the other indicators use a signal from the speedo and the rev counter. If you're going to feed it all that information it would seem to make sense just to go the whole hog and fit a digidash!!!
