Hello.
Bought an 18 month old focus last week. Nothing special but the first nice runaround car i've managed to afford and was immaculate. Got up this morning to find some utter bastard had driven into the rear 3/4 panel and buggered off.

I'm livid. I've phoned some bodyshops which all seem to be run by chancers and idiots - getting any kind of appointment or indication of costs has been like talking to a chimp.

Have i mentioned i'm furious?

I need a bodyshop sw london area who have someone who can answer the phone, speak english in a polite manner and do a good job on the day they say they will. I'm not looking for bargains, i want it done right by someone who can treat a paying customer with basic civility.

Rant over. Anyone??!

where exactly are you? if you can venture to the M3, J4 there is a place i have used many times and are happy to be taken aside and given a "cash job"

Any chance anyone saw the accident? If so you can make a claim with the insurance ombudsman....

I believe sometimes it's people's friends who are walking past at the time of the accident who see what happened....

look around the parked cars in the street for matching paintwork and damage. Are any usual cars not parked where they normally are...?
