Read the book. Saw how uncle Ron did it. Tried and failed to make a Kinetic windscreen surround fit my scuttle (paid a lot for it too) - it was too
narrow. His scuttle was too narrow too, so bought another one from the UK. Hey it's only money. What the effing f.
Ordered another one from GBS. Looked good. Now, if I may, I am going to vent:
Why, oh why, please why, does every fu... thing I buy need to be effed with, bent, and cut at some stupid angle, and holes need to be tapped etc? Is
it not possible in this day and age, to pay somebody a small fortune for parts, have them delivered to a country in the G8, and actually fit your car?
No. Didn't think so.
if you didn't want to 'make' your kit then perhaps a Westfield kit would be best, it just bolts together...

Heath Robinson might be " Rube Goldberg " across there
Does anyone need frames that fit. We have almost enough to sustain a run.
The haynes guys were all making noises about frames but no one ever got back to us.
I need at least five to batch make otherwise it makes for a lot of running for no benefit.
If you can persuade Pat (Mango) then I can heartily recommend his work.
Cheers
Mark

I'm with you on that one mate.......
Seems I have the same sort problems.
I ordered a couple of lazer cut plates.
Gave the guy a proper drawing, and a template in card.
paid over the odds for it.
When it arrived it was 10mm out on one edge..... NO friging good to me at all...

I probably overreacted a bit. The response is heartwarming! I know nobody said it would be easy, except you know who.
I know I have been over my head since the beginning, when I bought what I thought was a kit, only to find a bunch of parts that don't go
together. 2 or 3 of the 25 or so "kits" that this person sold, made it to the road, so I am not alone with that, but those that give up
don't like to talk about it.
Fair comment Whippy: Westfield was not available to me in my country, and still isn't that I know of. Kits are officially not allowed, so
importing is not an option. You risk losing the whole thing at customs - and not getting it back. The cheapest Caterham costs $50,000. Same price
unassembled, as turn key. I might make it to that anyways!!
