Wet weather cover

I once saw a cover where your head sticks through an elasticated hole in a covering sheet which covers the seating area!
What would this be called?

Cheers!

It would be called comical by me!

A spray deck? Or a poncho? Or a cagoule?

How would you see the oil /temp /speedo ? gauge

omega0684 - 9/3/09 at 09:19 PM

it could be made out of clear PVC

blakep82 - 9/3/09 at 09:36 PM

hmm, i'd find one of them really annoying probably

BenB - 9/3/09 at 10:09 PM

It'd flap round quite a lot unless it was stiffened... I'm sure it can be done but expect it'd be quite annoying. You'ld have to make sure it couldn't billow up and obscure your view...

It'd quite possibly be called "illegal" i recon. How could you seriously be in proper control of a vehicle with your head sticking out of a spray deck!!

What wouldnt i do to see a picture of that now!!

Me too!

Might be easier to fit a small bike engine & wheels to one of these though:

It'd take me weeks to stop laughing long enough to take the photos!

If I could get one that incorporated a balaclava, my car would look tidy! Actually, it wouldn't be a bad idea for SVA!

Is it just me, or does a moped engined canoe with 3 wheels appeal to anyone else
Even a 25cc chainsaw / mini moto motor would be interesting....
Oh crap, would it be classed as a bike? could you make it street legal?
Questions questions...I might just do this!!!!

I had Milson on here make me a full tonnaeu cover with two zips. One by my right shoulder that goea across to the curve on the scuttle and one zip from my left shoulder that goes slightly diagonally to the the top of the scuttle so that I can see the dials. I just roll it back and put behind driver seat. The driver side acts like a "skirt" , the upside that I stay nice and warn as well , and dont get nearly as wet as I did before.
Regards
Mike
