Got my yellow stripe done last weekend, I am very pleased with it. This was the overall classic look I wanted when I first started thinking about
building a kit car.
It seems to set off the green, specially in the sun and also will help other drivers to see me coming in a dark green car.
It was done at my local signwriters place (Roo'd Signs) in Kintore, cost was £80. It happens to be next door to the Luego workshop, I was not
aware that we had a seven kit car company in Scotland, it turns out there is one on my door step!

that looks really good. As it was done at a signwriters is it a vinyl graphic or old school signwriters ie paint?

can't fault that at all .... but you missed a little bit of yellow wrapped around the rollbar

It's vinyl, they had to do some jiggery pokery to get round the curves on the front of the nose cone.
I might go back and get the roll bar stripe done, hopefully they will have some offcuts left.

I was thinking of a similar retro look for mine when I finally get hold of the kit and get it built. Good to know there's someone local to get it
done. Just need to decide on a colour scheme then. Kawasaki green body work with black wings so a dark purple maybe.

Car lookrs realy good and retro. Just needs a proper windscreen, shell wings and Minilites!
A stripe on the road car would be overdoing it, as is adding a bit to the roll bar IMHO
yellow on the roll bar will look a bit silly...
I agree, don't do the rollbar, that looks really good, are you gonna have your wings green or yellow?
The wings are green, I am waiting for MAC#1 to supply the brackets. I did get them 2 days before SVA, but had to send them back as they were not
powder coated, I chase them most days by telephone, they are mega busy with SVA's right now. I hope is does not delay me getting on the road.
You are right about the roll bar stripe being OTT. And I was not serious about the road car stripe.
