Where is the best place to get a small bonnet bulge from?

I have looked at CBS etc, and all appear largish.

It will be blended into the bonnet and painted.

I just need to clear the top of my Dellorto Side Draught (currently i can not see me having to have a hole in the side of the bonnet for the trumpets/filter)

what sort of size? do you have any measurements in mind?

I had a quick measure up today.

Its to clear the top body of the carb.

I came up with 15mm high, 140mm Long (front to back) and 110mm across.

These are the measurements of the carb, so will need a bulge slightly bigger to allow for engine movement.
