Mounting Light on Curve
mad4x4 - 8/6/09 at 07:03 AM

I have abit of body on my car that Curves
I need to make a "Wedge" to go between the CURVE and the Light Unit that I which has to be mount on this curve. (using a landrover style lamp)

"Curve is to big just to screw lamp onto"

So how do I do it.

(note due to type of vehilce there isn;t a flat surface big enough that these lights can be mounted on so that in not an option"

So far I thought about P38 filler but don't fancy trying to get both sides to match...
as there is 4 Lights to do (2 Indicator 2 Stop Tail)

I know it is a long job ut you could make a buck and take a mould off it them make them out of fibreglass that way they would all be the same. Have a look here they used to have loads of help on the site, if you get a catalogue there are some good 'how to's' in it.

Could you use some waste pipe / drain pipe and cut one end square to the light and one end at the right angle?

Hi, a pair of fibreglass 'wedges' were supplied with my CAT kit to enable the rear lights to mount vertically - may be worth a call to Tiger.
Cheers
