Hi i have a number of minor scratches where my bonnet has fell over when off the car - is there any miricle cure to get rid of minor scratches or will it need a respray?

How you repair it depends on the paint finish and how deep the scratches are. If you are lucky, the finish will be laquered and the scratches only in the laquer layer in which case they may polish out (or wet n dry).
