Hi,
I'm probably being dozy here but here goes. I have (finally) managed to get my front suspension brackets sorted out and am in the process of
fitting the diagonal tubing just behind (can't remember the part reference).
The diagonal tube seems to project outwith the top and bottom rails, meaning that when I come to fit the side panels they will have to bend
around/across the diagonals.
Is this correct? The pictures I have looked at seem to have the side panels flat between the top and bottom rails.
Cheers guys
yes you are correct, you do need to bend the panel over the diagonal

Quick tip if you are going to use pre made exhausts. Check where they are going to go.
I welded the diagonals in then sawed them out and had to reposition them cos' they were right across where the exhaust need to be.
My side panels go straight down vertically then ,have a right angle bend on the bottom to take them into the chassis, that turned in section tapers
from nothing at the back to about 4" at the front.

As Surrey dave says, the panel folds in at the front suspension.
Others I've looked at seem to have the panel curve inward at the bottom, approx 3-4 inches at the front tapering back to nil at the start of the
panel
