Sorry to bring this up again, but does anyone have one which they coudl measure it at its widest point for me please??
Wana get one ordered but want to check it will actually have a chance of fitting as i have heard the measurement given is the most accurate in the world.

its just thsi fibreglass one off ebay for about £35. its come up on here a few times but no one has ever put a measurement up.

it wont be accurate as its bolted to the scuttle

How wide is the scuttle on the Mk where it meets the side panel (fonrt edge of door section)

I think I've ordered the one that you're looking at, from somone that also sells stuff for a transit van?

Its 42 inches, they say its flexible and can go over a larger scuttle but realistically it will look crap on anything bigger than 44 inches.

Make sure you want to buy it beofre you buy though, I had trouble with them and there customer service is non existent, after receiving a couple of nasty meassages and some threats I eventually had to take it to paypal who ruled in my favour.

mine is 42in i think so sounds like i may be onto a winner.

And would love to meet you in farnham but its on axle stands for the next two weeks, few tweeks to make to it.
