To stripe or not to stripe...? Pics please..!
foes - 18/7/09 at 06:26 PM

I'm cosidering adding some vinyl stripes to my locost, not sure yet wether to go single or twin running the length of the car...?

Also on the aluminium side panels i originally wanted them black but left them plain ali for simplicity, but, would a stripe running along the bottom of them look too much? Or, i've seen someone's on here (striker i think) wih the yamaha angled block things (thats the best description i can come up with ) running down the side panels...?

Colour wise i was thinking matt black. Car is the one pictured to the left.

<-----------

Any pics of various stripes running the length of the car and side panel's would be greatly appreciated, as would peoples opinions.

Cheers.

I wondered how long before someone used that colour scheme, simple but eye catching, very nice

Side stripes look good but no one shows the exhaust side, what have you there. 1. The exhaust is in the way 2. The heat will melt the vinyl. I am interested as I want to stripe my sides, Barry

The stripe through the bonnet is a negative one as it's a CF bonnet...

Its not a problem if you have the exhausts exiting out of the rear panel Rescued attachment braun mk indy.jpg

I had checkered flag vinyl's down the side of my old Indy, with a big silencer,it was quite close to the bodywork but it did not effect the vinyl.

I like the paint job on this one...

And yes, I know it's got a dodgy number plate (wrong font)

foes...... if you dont have a company in mind to do the stripes or what ever you go for, let me know. I use a company in Derby for all my work. You can either buy and fit yourself or they will do it for you.
