hi all, well last tuesday, at 5.30 on a12, i had my first accident. i was comming on to the a12, down the slip road and indactead, and looked in my mirror, saw nothing so i pulled on to the a12, but there was a clio there, so i touched sides with her in the indy, but luckly i was not going fast, i just broke my rear arche, i have no pictures of it, but it is all in one peace, but parts off the gelcoat has come off, and in one place the fiberglass has broke, but what is best to replace the gelcoat, i seen that you can buy black gelcoat or flow coat, which one would make it like new or the best option?

as for the broken bit, i will fiberglass the underside, and fill it with gelcoat or flowcoat, not sure which one yet.

well do not normaly use the a12 when i am in the indy, and will not be using it for a while.lol

any help on which is best gelcoat or flowcoat, to fill holes in with?

thanks

stuart

A rear arch is only about £60,so replacement could be your best option.

i was going to suggest just getting a new one as well!

I would get a new arch if it was me theyr not that expensive.

Surely has to be the easiest, neatest and quickest option.

Yep, spun mine and knackered the rear end - replacement is easy, especially if its only the arch.

hmm, well i throught i will repair it, as it not that bad, until i go up to mk, then i can order it before i go and pick it up, i was hoping for an mk open day.
