i am just about to widen a standard nose to suit my 442 mcsorley chasiss it doesent seem to need the full extra 4 inch is this normal as it looks like it only needs to be 26" wide
also my chasiss is 15 High so i was thinking of adding 2" to the height
what extra have other builders added to theirs
i plan to make a mould so if i scrap one i can make another

I understood from the McSorley plans that the 442 design used a standard nosecone, as the chassis is standard width at the appropriate point.

I can confirm, as a 442 chassis builder, that a standard Luego Velocity nosecone is, if anything, very slightly too wide. I'm not sure how it compares with their standard Locost nosecone, though.

The Velocity nosecone is approx. 255mm high at the highest point, above the top chassis rail. I find this just enough to cover the massive Ford DOHC

my 442 is 27.7 inches at the top front rail but a standard book chassis is only 24.5
so the leugo nose must be bigger than standard how is it for height as our 442's chassis sides are 15" high and this is plus 2 on height compard to rons
