Reversing light
Findlay234 - 12/10/09 at 02:40 PM

Now with all rules changed and me ramping up to a looming IVA test ive got to put in a reversing lamp. I dont want to cut any new holes in the bodywork so i ask you to have a look at the photo of the rear in my avatar. the fog light is a 95mm fairly standard light fitting. Does anyone know of a concentric light unit (red and white) that doesnt cost the earth ( the earth being anywhere near or over £100)... or does anyone know another solution i can employ....

Cheers
Fin

i haven't read up on where the reverse light has to be, but what about one of these screwed under the rear panel?

although its not IVA or MOT (disconnect for the MOT) stuff, I use an additional front fog lamp mounted under the back bumper on my cars which has saved me quite a few bashes in the past. I find normal reverse lamps underpowered and puny.
