Bolts
i scraped the powder coat off then drilled a few small holes in the stay then used tiger seal
Mine are stuck with two rivets and clear silicone and have stayed put for nearly five years.
What about this stuff?

I have some other PU stuff left over, but it goes very hard when set. I was afraid that Sikaflex was a bit too flexible and maybe not strong
enough.
No bolts through wings that cost 260 pounds!!

I used a tough 2-part epoxy (claimed to have some flexibility), then used some resin and glass mat over the lot as a backup. This was still holding
after >5000 miles.
However, when I modified the stays I put bolts through, for various reasons.
I originally used sikaflex, i basically caked the bottom of the wing and wingstay with the stuff and squished it together. It lasted about 6000miles
then the lower bracket started to seperate on one, and came off completely on the other. (Way back from stoneleigh this year.)
I made the assumption this is down to not having enough surface area actually bonded, so I did it again, this time I still used sikaflex (Because I
had plenty, else I think I'd use epoxy based fibreglass instead.) but sandwiched the wing stay between the wing and a long bent bit of
aluminium.

That has lasted at least another 7000miles without any sign of separation.
Bolts are the best adhesive.
I tried several types of PU adhesive and all failed after about 1000miles. This is with the correct surface prep.
I gave up and fitted stainless bolts in the end.

mine failed due to the wingstay bar corroding. Cleaned it to bare steel, roughed up and super clean. Moisture will get in eventually. The PU stuck
really well to the underside o fthe wing. For second try i drilled the wingstay bay. Sold the car so cant say how long it will last.
TBH bolts are the only way to be sure (as long as the wing doesnt crack etc) but not always the most aesthetic. It must be said that the skiddies you
will leave if they come off in traffic isnt aesthetically appealing either 
Drilling more holes in the stays has no appeal, I must say. I broke a couple of bits, and couldn't do anything with my arms after the last time!
