1 or 2 washer jets?
Humbug - 24/10/09 at 04:21 PM

I'm in the process of setting up my screen, wipers and washers. I bought a washer kit which has bag, pump, tubing, etc. and 2 washer jets, each with 2 holes. For a screen as small as a seven's, is it really necessary to use 2 jets or would 1 do? I am sure I have seen sevens with just one. I've got 2 so I can use them, just interested.

Also, with 2, do you put them in line with the wiper spindles, or spaced evenly across the scuttle?

Cheers

Simon

I have one central that contains two jets, correctly adjusted it's fine.. Don't see to need for for jets in total..

I've also just got one central jet. The coverage isn't the problem It's the ferocity of the spray. I keep on meaning to put an inline resistor to the pump to calm things down a bit....

interesting, i have put both on but agree the ferocity of the water stream is awesome!! Hopefully this pic will help you - shows the coverage too

Thanks, chaps. So, if I use just one and mount it half way down the bonnet it might have the right pressure/volume on the screen?
