As ya'll know, im using TR-6 front wings on my locost.
Im thinking about what to do on the inside of the arch to prevent sh1t from the road finding its way to the chassis/engine.
I was thinking about attaching some L shaped brackets to the inside of the arch and attaching some rubber sheet to it, abit like an oversized
mudflap.
Would this be enough if only the rear of the arch (ie 12 - 3 oclock if looking from the side)?
why not panel with ally sheet a lot lighter than rubber

Good idea. I need to get more steel so may aswell get more ali while i am there
I would recommend that you rivet a thin rubber strip to the inner arch so it meets the wing this will give you really good seal. This is the method used years ago. My Austin a35 had this method of sealing
Great, cheers
