Hi, I,ve just been fitting the rear ali panel to the chassis. When finished it looks ok but i would like to cap it off with some trim of some sort.
I,ve found this stuff at woolies:

My question is would this bend round a horizontal bend with the aluminium within the trim? or is there something else everyone uses?
Cheers
Steve
A photo might help..

First of all, I am now firmly believing that nobody will notice the imperfections on the top part of the rear panel except YOU.
Second, I wish I had thought of sanding before putting the vinyl on.
Third, I just made a tonneau-type boot cover, which might not be Milson quality, but cost nothing but time and some thread, and looks fine to me.
GBS has a demo car with a boot cover that goes around the outside, rivetted on. I think it looks gread myself.
I have took a pic to show the bit i'm talkin about. To be honest i have made a bit of a hash of it, i cut it short as i think it was suppose to
fold right over to the inside rather than sitting on the top.
The trim i linked earlier isnt big enough, if i cant find any bigger will redo the panel when funds allow.
Looks quite neat.. I have the tube around the top so there is no sharp edge. As above the easy thing to do is make a boot cover, it also stops the IVA
tester getting in looking for sharp edges (although I am not sure if this is a testable region or not for the IVA). You could always make a plywood
top for the test.
