Ditto.

The hammerite smooth looks exactly the same as powder coating if done properly. Powder coating for hoops seems like a waste of money to me, when you can take them off and spray them in the sunshine, then put them back on in the evening.

got powder coating set up so no cost apart from powder have tried all sorts of paint still getting stone chips etc just problem getting powder and paint to match

I have seen powdercoated roll bars suffer from stone chips as well. The difficulty is repairing the powder coat hammerite can eb rubbed down and blended in easily

I've done both, and MakeEverything is right. It is a right pain the powdercoating, and you have to prep it anyways, so just do the Hammerite. If you heat up the Hammerite after spraying, it comes out very nice.

Just my opinion!!
