Hi all,

i have had a look in the archive but have found nothing yet.
Please point me in the right direction if I have missed any.

I have become infactuated with the front end of the new donky D8GT.
Has anyone had a go yet?

I think it looks fantastic.
So much so that I am seriously considering making one for my locost. I think that with my one piece bonnet/scuttle it could look the business. Granted its not to everyone's taste but nothing is.

My car is allready registered so I am not that bothered with fitting rules and regs, although it would be nice if it could.

What do you guy rekon?

The MNR "new" nose looks quite similar

i saw this a couple of days ago and decided i would have to give it a go.

i am nowhere near to needing body panels yet but there is a a roll of chicken wire, loads of fibreglass and a bloody big tub of P38 that i know is looking at me everytime i walk into the shed

If i manage it, i'll make sure i remove the molds sympathetically for anyone else who wants.

I love donkervoorts

No issues, because, being Dutch, this will have been designed properly to meet type-approval requirements.

Always love the Donkers - IMHO the only "modern" take on a 7 that actually works aesthtically and they've managed to blend in a decent looking hard top too

One day - oh yes, one day....

I thought that to about the Dutch having allready met the regs.
Skinned nuckles have you started yet or still gathering materials?

Probably worth reading these to get an idea of the techniques required to build a buck for a nosecone. Unless you're really talented trying to carve it freehand is going to end badly.
