Whats peoples opinions on fitting 245 45 17 tyres on a 7" wide rim.

The toyo website says that it will fit on a 7.5" rim

I would not fit a 245 17 with just a 45 profile on a 7" rim,I would say a 8" rim at least.

7" seems very narrow - you'd have to assume toyo say 7.5"min for a good reason

btw - my 245/45 R16's sit quite nicely on 9" rims
even the 205/45's R16's are on 7.5" rims
