As some of you know I am building a indy (all be it very slowly) Obviously 7 cars have a terrible drag coeficient...
So has anyone overcome this by fitting a different body, obviously I know the answer is yes, but could I have some examples please? did you make it
yourself, buy something and adapt it to fit? or what?
I'm thinking something like this:
[Edited on 19/2/10 by Dan.]
theres several bodies that will fit the chassis.
MK are making one and wlr or summut like that had a body to fit it as well lmp style
A member on here own's the moulds for that body, although I don't know exactly what condition they are in at this very moment...
I'm sure he'll notice this post!

As all 7s are pretty much of a muchness, does that mean it should be possible (with a bit/lot of fettling) to fit one to any 7 type chassis, I'd love to put one on the Luego
yes its liam - i tried to buy em , but didnt have spare cash .
i now have sylva star to modify .
Yes I have them, they're not in bad condition but do need some work.
I love that body style, hence the efforts to find them. eventually purchasing them from Procomp
I'm quite taken by that car as well.
I'm sort of intrested to know what sort of work would be involved to DIY a body from scratch.
Check the Canamsa thread...
Not easy or fast by any means...
You could get exactly what you want if you are persistent enough.
Thanks for the PM Liam funny how we have similer projects lol
