Hi Guys,
Can i have some pics of sevens with mud flaps. Can't seem to find any. Trying to persuade Alex (omega) they look cool
Alex
You need mud flaps, they look cool.
No they don't, they look pooh!
Not cool. Small, unobtrusive but very effective. Made from some scrap traffic light hoods(!)

Got to have them though. i was going to use some neopryne.
Ive got some but the cars stripped at the mo so no pics I can say is they keep all the cow dung ,stones, roadcrap and water off of my right arm
and car sides.
The local council here likes to use the re-seal method instead of digging and fixing the tarmac.
This leaves ten thousand little tread size stones that shoot up like a rooster tail......and stone blast me....that stopped when I put the front flaps
on.
As well as that I have a bright yellow car....it stays yellow for a heck of a lot longer with the muck catchers

Sorry not a good photo
Wouldn't be without mine now as they save stones & water up the side of the car
Made mine from 4mm flexible sheet rubber, cut to a template and then secured to the arches using pan head screws, Nyloc nuts & washers
They're flexible enough not to crack the arch but not too flexible that they don't really do anything

Going to fit some, I think I will cut out from a cheap rubber car matt I have..
Dan
Just tell him norfolkline use them....
There you go - a Halfords "rally" mudflap cut down to the right shape, fixed with bolts and nylocs
No, he's right, they look poo - but I'd have them...
Esp. if I had some material to be able to make them out of
