Wishbone protectors?

Is there such a thing?

For some reason the leading edge of my bottom wishbones suffer a lot from stone chipping. Currently I spot them up with nail varnish.

I was looking at them last night wondering if there was nice carbon protector available??

Hi Steve,

I have put some clear vinyl on the leading edges of mine and it seems to work well.

Regards

Bob

Check Ebay for something called helicoptor tape, I use it on my mountain bikes for protection, it's seriously tough stuff.

Kind regards

John

either that or "lizard skin" type mountain/motor bike protectors.... neoprene rubber type thing with velcro to hold it around the tube.... Easy enough to pop off and send through the washing machine..

I have one to protect my frame from chain strike

Just the business, thanks.

Will I be able to buy some at Stoneleigh do you think?

Alternatively, those stick on strips that went on a mountain bike to protect the frame from the chain hitting it might work well.

Bet they come in clear or carbon or whatever.

BTW, do you have a lot of nail varnish Coozer?

Helicopter tape is also known as flash tape and is pretty much ideal for the job!
