With turbo fuel injected engine? My new one with the funnel does not appear vented. Will this cause a problem? Thank you!
I'd've thought it'd only be needed if you have no other fuel breathers.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about, so I gather I need another fuel cap, and I've just wasted 70 pounds plus shipping.
I can't just ADD A VENT to an existing tank full of fuel. Thanks for the replies though.
Why can't I just bolt parts on, get it inspected, and go driving? Why? Really?

Can you not remove the filler neck and add a bit of steel pipe with a breather in it into that?
Sorry, again, but I don't understand. I don't weld either, by the way.
Do you mean drilling a hole in the funnel?
Drill a couple of holes in the cap out of sight?
Should breathe enough to do the job
Now that I can probably do!! Thanks! I have a few more odd jobs to do on it before shipping it out to BC for provincial inspection there. Need to
decide if i'm ditching my dodgy gauges for a digidash too. Making the new dash should be easy.
update: upon checking the new cap, this does not look possible. Any other ideas???
