I have a Naca duct to fit onto my nosecone.
HOw best to fit the straight duct into the bent profile on the nose?
When i offer it up from the inside, there is a gap of up to half an inch in the middle...
Suggestions? Its an ABS Naca duct and a fibreglass nosecone...
Ask Jon Ison ?

OK, put another way, what do i use to fill the gap?
I have a book on car bodywork, and it refers to 'bondo'- whats that then?
Is it some kind of filler? what best to use?

Many moons ago I nearly got chucked out of the Dyson plant when I asked about "hoovers".......
Remember that your nose has hisg and low pressure points, though if you want max air, you have to tinker a bit...
Worth reading an article by this guys - not exactly this, but a very related
one - where they use a water Magnehelic pressure gauge to prove that you'll have a very high pressure point right in the begining of the nose top
apex, then a low pressure one, and another high pressure one right near the windscreen.
