Long shot ,but wondering if anyone has had problems with ABS warning light on all time. Car is 1.4 2000 Corsa. Brakes work fine but wondering how to diagnose fault. Any help welcome thanks.
Having had a similar problem on a Galaxy, the first place to look is the ABS wheel sensor conections.
I had that on a honda, turned out it was a brake light bulb that had gone!!
Visually check the reluctor rings on the front CV joints, the rings crack & split due to rust between the cv joint and the ring this a known
problem on Vauxhalls of this era.
Replacement rings are available but shop around as prices vary immensely.
had this on my A4, ended up being the brake light switch under the pedal mech failing - common fault across the audi range
try this test.
Engine off.
Start engine, remain stationary.
1) Does the light come on?
2) Push pedal does the light come on?
3) Start moving does the light come on?
If light only comes on in (3) then it is a wheel sensor (i.e. wheels showing different speeds). I had this on my A4, sensor wire rubbed by wheel as
garage had not refitted it properly.
If you get (2) then brake light switches and stuff.

Pick up ring at the cv on mine was rusted n' split so I pulled the fuse and stuck some tape over the light.
