Gonna wrap my car
j3w3ll3r - 6/8/10 at 07:47 AM

Hi Guys, I have a friend that works with Vinyl and will wrap my car as a "test" project, trouble is im crap with designs and ideas

I Have a Westfield SE, and its my intention to do a bit of work over the winter and sell her on early next year for something newer and quicker, currently she's red with black nose and wings

Anyone seen anything out there that looks the nuts, obviously they want to do a design that shows their flair and creativity but i want to balance it with saleability so making it look like "jaws" or "a Spitfire" is not what i had in mind

Any ideas appreciated

I think the problem with vinyl wrapping is that it doesn't do subtle very well - making your car look like a shark or a spitfire is what it does best.

I know a guy who had a westy wrapped in a tropical underwater scene. It looks awesome, but I believe it was originally done because the bodywork was tatty and needed sorting out.

I have a midget that will become a BEC frogeye racer - if I was going to get that wrapped it would probably by in leopard skin or tiger stipes...

+1 for the tiger stripes! This is one of my all-time favourite wraps!

there is a lambo spider that i have seen quite a few times, its had a wrap done which is mainly white with carbon fiber looking engine cover,

something like that looks the nuts (until white goes out of fashion) and would help give the car a modern look.

how you would then incorporate a spitfire theme is the tricky part.

A race rep would be easy and give it a sporty look.
