Aluminium sheet prices
Thinking about it - 23/8/10 at 01:57 PM

Can anyone give a guide price for aluminium sheet 1.2mm. So I know who is pulling my chain when I phone round for some prices.
What grade am I looking for for internal panelling?

I paid £65 for a 6 x 4' sheet of 1.2mm NS4.....

NS4 is the one to use btw

I have a sheet of 2mm at 2m x 4m lying around... it was going to form the one-piece flat-floor for the Ultima, but is now surplus to requirements!

I'm happy to take cuts off of it if anyone needs any!

As said, use NS4 which is a very tough alloy. 1.2mm for floor and bulkheads etc. Price range would be £45 to £50 plus VAT for an 8 x 4 or metric equivalent sheet. Where any forming is needed such as, for example, the scuttle or bonnet, pure aluminium 1050A, or NS3 are good to work with.

It has either Easyjet or Virgin stickers on it though!

You tried Aalco?

I found them quite reasonable, and have brought steel, ali sheet and aluminium moulding.
