Anyone used any form of silicone sealer remover?
Ive read mixed reviews about the Unibond one from B&Q.
I am helping my friend to remove the left over silicone from around the wind screen frame on his car.
We can get most of it off with the good ‘ole Stanley but he needs a clean surface for the re-spray.
The stuff I had was a complete waste of money. It came from B+Q but don't remember what it was called.
However, I needed it for finishing off cleaning a bath surround, for tiny amounts on paintwork it may be better.
I used the unibond stuff. It wasn't a miracle cure (the stuff still took some scrapping) but it sure made the job easier...
