Hi,anybody seen any nice examples of these I could maybe look at on line before going out to the welder!!Not sure about the box section on "7Build"-am thinking about semi circular plates but would then have to round edge for sva-Bob /guys what ya doin??Mike.

I thought the ones on the 7 build site were OK,if only for simplicity.
Got to admit some of that oval tube merlin and bass are using would be the way to go.
I think bass said he would take some to donington if anybody wanted some.

made mine outa round tube, big flat disc on top, (middle out of an hole saw) then welded 6 mm Dia pipe all around to give a radius, not sure if you can see em on pics, take a look, worked 4 me.

I used the mounts off a 2CV. They need some 5.0mm rod welded around the base, but otherwise are an easy solution if you can find an old 2CV.
