Ok, I've had some bolt on aluminium spacers made, which bolt upto the existing hubs onto the studs, and have new studded bar screwed into tapped holes on the face. What I want to know is what should I be telling people to torque the studded bar upto when screwing into the spacer with the current wheel nut. Manufacturer spec says between 70-80 lb/ft I believe.
Personally if it was me id want to see threaded tophat bushes pushed in from the back to take the studs/wheelnuts.
but if you are happy the attachment is safe then surely the torque setting should be at least the same as standard.

I'm sure you could be a bit more vague
What is the thread size and pitch?
What material is the adaptor flange?
How long is the thread engagement?
What material is the stud?
It sounds as if you are selling/supplying these in which case I would really be expecting a slightly more scientific approach with regards to design
specification.

Do you mean like the hubcentric solid steel 25mm wheel spacers that have two sets of holes? Surely you are not holding the wheels onto studding that
is tapped into aluminium are you?
