Has anyone bought the Softbits for Sevens half hood? I know a few have made their own but I'm getting lazy in my old age..Is it any good? The hood that is, not old age, before you all start!

The ones I'e seen are very good.You'd be very hard pressed to match the quality yourself. You pay for the quality though!
For your car though they'll probably want the car for a day as the hood is a custom fit.

I've got one. Well made - yes, cheap - no. But as said it was custom made for the car and it makes it so much more pleasant should you get caught in the rain (or a bracing snow blizzard wheelspinning halfway up a mountain pass).

Meh - I thought I'd be a lot better off on the CR500's but TBH even with the Quaife I was still struggling once we came to a total stop.

I was still quite impressed with your efforts at a roof Adi considering you normally wield spanners rather than a sewing machine!
