There's a pic in my archive of a lovely Yellow & Black MK Indy belonging to someone on here but I can't remember whose it is.
Can someone either tell me whose car it is and / or what cycle wings they are as I love the close profile of them?
Thanks,
Matt
PS - at the same time can you tell me how I post a pic in a thread - ta!!
the look like DAX front arches to me
and all you need to do is copy and paste the code under the photo. couldn't be simpler
It's now appeared in the recent uploaded photos bit too!!
MK Indy
I like my wings better.
nice roll cage as well.....
Looks really nice... Except the 17" wheels really spoils it :-(

thanks though to the OP. they are dax cycle wings
the wheels go with the cycle wings. i wanted the cycle wings over anything else and i built the car when i was 17 before i really understood unsprung
weight. having said that, wheel and tyre is only 16.8kg so not far off an average 15" wheel. if anyone wants to donate some 13" cxrs with
888s on, i'll happily swap them.
the aeroscreen's from ebay about 3 years or so ago. not sure they're still selling them. nice bit of kit though
roll cage was custom commissioned from Martin Keenan, the rear hoop and stays are welded, but with a bolt on front half
cheers

Cheers Tom,
Wicked looking car. I have the same Martin Keenan full cage and colour scheme. Thankfully there are differences in our builds but I do like the
profile of your front wings.

At least they dont spoil the Handling, or Performace ( the things that matter on this style of car) like 17" wheels do
After reading this thread and seeing Indykids Aeroscreen which I think looks great I did a quick search online to see if I could find the supplier
This is what I found:
http://www.aerodynamix.co.uk/
Their Aeroscreen looks exactly like Indykids
I contacted them using the email address provided on the price list page which is julianeisel@aol.com
He called me back later on and took my order so If anyone else is interested give him a shout, hes a very pleasant fella to talk to
Hope that helps
cheers
Patrick
i'm almost certain that's the same seller. the product range looks the same and istr that decal (though thankfully mine didn't come
with one - i had worried it might be in the gel)
did you go for the JPE style one with the cutout in the middle or the straight one?
Hi indykid
Im not sure what you mean by JPE style? but I went for one with the cutout in the middle,
They're very reasonable in price especially compared to the kind of money westfield and caterham want for their aeroscreens.
I really like the low profile look of it and since ive driven the car for 3 years with no screen at all just a helmet I think it should make a big
difference.
the JPE was a caterham special edition, the jonathan palmer evolution, hence JPE.
the aeroscreen with the gap for the mirror in the middle was fitted to those models
