I am going to change the side panels on the locost I have just bought . Does anyone know the thickness these panels should be?

I used 1.2mm half hard, very easy to fit but dented by the slightest ding. Knowing what I know now, I would have used 1.6mm

1.5mm half hard. Still got the film on, so still looks good.

I used 1mm Zintec. Very easy to work and resistant to corrosion, but i used it cos it was free..........

1.2mm 5251-H22 alloy with vinyl coating on one side. Got it from www.aalco.co.uk for about £24 per 2500x1250x1.2mm sheet based on 3 sheets. Delivery was £12.

This stuff is moderately difficult to bend (about right IMO) and seems hard enough to resist dent fairly well.
Cheers,
Craig.
