Im tempted to look it up on the legal aspect as theirs a lot of speedbumps near me and this would save a few £ as im assuming 7's arent so speedbump friendly.

Couple of light springs should stop it swinging back but be compliant for a speed bump.

+1 on the light spring idea but id recomend some rubber stops too behind the plate incase they could ping back also howlong would the plate last over speedbumps before being chewd away haha just a small worry
