Hi folks,

I have built a support for my steering column which is attached directly to the chassis. Do I still have to include a cross member, or would this be purely to provide a radius on the bottom edge of the dash. Put differently - Provided I have a means of producing a radiused bottom edge to my dash, is the cross member a requirement?

In a word NO

I damn well hope not, I've not got one although my MDF dash is a little flimsy!
