What have you done were the tunnel top panel, scuttle & battery panel meet, do they all overlap or does the tunnel panel stop short...

look at my archive for ali basher pix. They butt up to each other. This is where your wireing `should`* route into the engine bay to give the ability to remove scuttle panel for access.





*This route gives the clean uncluttered look to engine bay.
