How to trim this edge?

I'm looking for some advice - any dvice on how to trim the shoulder bars on my haynes roadster. As per the picture below, on the left you can see the curved bar (3mm thick strip) coming down. On the outside it forms a right angle corner with the aluminium sheeting, on the inside it is just a piece of strip so would need edge trim or similar.

Any tips much appreciated.

Hockey stick alluminium moulding is the norm

i did it like this on my roadster. used rubber u trim spread out then glued on for the corner then put rounded trim over the top
