Hey, i need to replace my cycle wings but i am un decided which style to go for.
What is the idea behind the shaped ones?
Wheel Arch Wing Caterham Westfield Locost Dax Kit Car | eBay

or should i just stick with plain ones? I have found these the are ABS so will last longer.

Are there any good ones that are more commonly used? I want something a little wider for running R888's on a 15" wheel. Probably a 205
tyre.
thanks in advance
Jon
Good quality plain ones all the time
Depends on the rest of the car really - trackday orientated, rollcaged, bear essentials then I like the idea of the CSR style ones.
Allegedly these have some aero advantage over standard wings.
If its a typical roadgoing cruiser then standard cycle wings might suit it best.
Carbonmods also have these very slender slimline jobbies:

Well it will be used on track days a fair bit but also day to day so I'm still not sure. What do the ribbed bits do on the other type?
I though carbon mods were not trading?

Carbon mods ones are discontinued according to page on the end of the posted link.
