Hi, I am replacing the ally rear pannel with a fibreglass item. What have you guys used to fig the rear pannel in place?

Tiger seal/ PU adhesive as a rule and a couple of rivets

Had a day off work on Monday and spent it at my mates garage working on the ex LC7 race car

I managed to:

1) Fit a new nose
2) Fit new front wings
3) Decided to retain the existing scuttle and wrapped it in black vinyl (twice, as it was my first attempt at wrapping)
4) Removed all the race decals from the bonnet and plan to wrap it
5) Removed the rear ally panel and then discovered the new fibreglass item was too wide and would not fit!
6) Cut a new ally rear panel and rivetted it on.

I was flat out all day (wasted a lot of time with the rear panel), so did not get a chance to take some pictures, but will for the next installment/day off when I hope to fit:

1) rear wings
2) tail lights
3) rebuilt engine
4) Indespension trailer parts -going for the option where you bolt (and unbolt) the trailing arms and tow hitch to the floor of the car

Looking forward to getting it home and a taking it to Donington Park

I have a spare new black scuttle up for grabs if anyone is interested.
