Hi Guys,
Recently acquired this body shell, and whilst we know exactly what we intend to do with it, i have no idea of what exactly it is!
Anyone got any ideas? Chevron has been suggested but the air intake scoops appear to be in the wrong place!

door stop?
skate park for dogs?
ill get my coat.
With such a simplistic shape, could be nothing, as in could be a one off.
Could be an old 750 Formula car? What does the badge on the left hand side say (to the left of the 99)?
Surprised it doesn't seem to have any holes in the obvious place for a roll bar/cage.
Definately home made and they used a hardboard former for the shape as it's so square.
I knew I had seen it somewhere.

maybe pose this question on Uphill racers forum, lots of knowledge on there re historic cars
Thanks Guys!
Confirmed my thoughts - at least nothing to be too upset about if half of it is left in the armco!
iank the sticker is "Sports Car Club of America" but suspect this is just a red herring. The Roll bar cutouts appear to allow for forward
leaning stays.
Bi22le - you're right! It's just a door stop at the moment!
That car looks like one i have recentley in a classic car mag, i will have a look tonight if i get the chance it was up for sale i think.
Hi
Checked the car i was thinking of its not like yours.

AndyW - excellent mod! I might refrain though!
kj - many thanks for checking for the detail.
Sam_68 - thanks very much for the link, just about to set something up on there!
Regards,
Keith
So after a bit more research it definitely fits with the DSR models raced in the States and looks to possibly have been based on a Legrand Mk 18
possibly Mk 25 - interestingly run on bike engines but the series appears to suggest they are direct drive - ie no diff!
More of an overgrown go - kart with suspension - some interesting stuff on the DSR forum - thanks Sam!
