Hi Everyone,

just wondered how tall above the scuttle panel I can go with my aeroscreen without it being classed as a windscreen? I have about 75mm above the scuttle now but was thinking of making one 50mm or so taller. Just need to deflect a little more wind to make it alot more comfortable

Daft question but if already SVA'd then why do you care? Many people leaves screens until after sva to avoid the faff of demisters etc.

However I believe the SVA manual does describe the difference and I have a feeling the key detail is the eyeline of a 'standard' person.

I need to deflect a little more of the wind to make it more comfortable to drive or carry passengers. That's all

I want to keep it legal re: MOT etc
