thanks Mark,

While I have your attention I have a few more questions.

1. I just need a light coat of the etch primer right ?

2. Do I need to sand the etch primer down before applying a coat of normal primer on top ? (do I need the normal primer)

3. How long does the etch primer take to dry before I can move on to the next coat of whatever.

thanks

1, you need a continuous coat, but the lighter the better

2, no, (only if you get a run, see 1,)

3, read the tin, but usually about 30 mins

Thanks Mark

no info on the tin about drying time, but it is a fairly plain "for professional use only" aerosol, so perhaps they manufacturer assumes you will already have this info. If I leave it 24 hours (I'm in no hurry) should be long enough.

thanks
