I've bought some heat protection mat, the stuff that is a woven material on one side and aluminum sheet on the other. I plan to glue it under my fibreglass bonnet above the exhaust manifold. Will Sikaflex be good enough to hold the mat on or is there a better alternatives?

I used high temp adhesive from CBS. Been on for 6 years now.

The CBS contact adhesive comes in 1 litre pots and is perfect for the job.
