hi all whats the best way to make my scuttle ? has anyone made there own . if so any tips ?!

I made a former from mdf, then bent the aluminium around this and dressed the edges down so it kept its shape then welded up.

Could have also riveted it together easily enough then added a separate rebate for the bonnet to lay upon.

The advantage for me was keeping the bodywork as low as possible in the car, disadvantage is that if you want a full size screen it may not fit your curves, I drew around an old paint pot
