Have a mate who is restoring a Mk1 Escort and needs some Chroming done.

Can anybody recommend anywhere in the Midlands area (or nearby) that they would trust to do a good quality job for a fair price ?

A m8 used the place in the link,he was happy with it

Used Niphos recently for some FOBCO drill parts and the finish was good and the price wasn't unreasonable. Don't expect to get anything back in a hurry though as they seem to be constantly busy, which must be a good sign.

A mate had some plating done for a DKW by a Telford firm but I can't recall their name. I will find out for you.
Saying that there are several platers in Telford

Cant remember the name but theres a place on the tyburn rd right by spaghetti - couple of units up from laptab powder coaters
They were quite cheap and dona lovely job
