I have made some inner wheel arches but need to fix a metal bracket to the underside of my fibreglass bonnet what it the best solution to bonding the
brackets on do not want to glass them in.

Sikaflex or any PU adhesive similar
What's bracket going to hold?
Tiger Seal/PU adhesive should do it.
They are holding the top of the inner wheel arches 3mm thick plastic.
Thet where attached with tiger seal but thiy have just fallen off. They do have a seal on them which means when the bonnet is opened the seal puts a
bit of pressure of this bracket.

Hi I've used panel bonder from cbs.....clamp in place for 24 hrs and then use 3 or 4 layers of glass matting over the mounting point, I"ve used that method may time and not had any problems.......
I used a two pack adhesive for attaching car body kits, worked well on aluminium brackets. I drilled several small holes in the bracket to let the adhesive ooze through and cleaned the area before fixing. Very strong bond.
I used No More Nails to hold a few non-structural items on to the inside of the GRP, like grilles inside the bonnet vents. It sticks incredibly well. Just make sure you use the waterproof variant if anywhere near water (obviously).
