Hey all,
has anyone used these side repeaters from "bolt on bits" and successfully passed IVA with them? I have sent the buyer an email asking if
they are they E-marked but had an out of office reply! They're significantly cheaper than alternatives from kit spares and I'm just a
wondering why!

Cheers
I've got some for that job but haven't fitted them, I can check if they are marked tonight if I remember to go in the garage.
I think the fog light is the only one that must be e or E maked
Yeah, they don't need e-marks, just to be of "equivilent brightness".
I used the clear versions for sidelights and passed with them. Though one of them keeps blowing and I'm not sure why. They're plenty bright
enough.

I bought some of these (from kitspares on ebay) but as a replacement for units on an already IVA'd car. Fitted and work pretty well, although the intensity is fairly directional - they are bright looking side on at the car but at a significant angle they do dim a fair bit. I'm quite happy with them for my purpose.
As above. Only the fog needs to be E marked (AND have a B or F mark).
Just make sure they glow the correct colour and can be seen from the required angles (LEDs can be dim at wide angles).

I passed IVA with some of those. Don't think they are E marked.
Thanks guys, I've ordered a pair - cant go wrong for six quid! In the meantime bolt on bits have replied and confirmed that they have an E mark
anyway.
cheers again
They have a TOP marking, otherwise they have a vertical beam
