Gulf paint job...
Dave Bailey - 17/5/15 at 10:15 AM

Ok so decided it's time to get the car painted..... Planning on Gulf colours.... I am a proper old woman about attention to detail so plan to remove wings etc... I don't want overspray on anything so expect there to be quite a bit of time preparing the car... The nose has some quite bad gel coat cracks concentrated on the front edge... The orange I want painted and the correct pin stripe... Anyone recommend anyone near Portsmouth / Horndean and any thoughts on price?.... I will do the stripping and rebuilding of the parts....

TGM Sport in Fleet,
Their work is brilliant. Used to do all the custom Overfinch Range Rovers before OF went bust.
They currently do all the Carlin race cars and the Gulf Mclaren MP4 GT cars and the Barwell Z4M and Aston Martins.

I would think £1500-2000 for a top job.

The nose cone prep could be costly if there is a few hours worth of repairs.

Didn't see your bit about price. Company I mentioned above repaired my nose cone after a lady reversed into me, and repaired damage on the side panel around a wishbone hole. Plus full color change from red to white for less than 1k

Have you considered changing the body work to the Gulf colours and having on the orange applied you may find it save you money

Now that is an idea..... Need to find out how much a body set is...
